I am an accomplished Certified Information Governance Officer with experience leading global and cross functional IG initiatives, in the complex landscapes of the biotech and information management industries.
I engage, and connect the dots - My expertise resides in assessing, identifying risks and gaps, and designing solutions from both a linear and non-linear perspective to generate positive results and enable business leaders to take smart risk-based approaches to decision-making.
I love to learn and share my knowledge - By continuously learning and staying informed and relevant, I leverage a deep knowledge of industry best practices/standards and use of emerging technologies to promote information governance and risk management. I design and provide training and awareness on information management programs and processes.
On a personal level, my career and education have been very eclectic. I am originally from Belgium and French speaking. We moved from military base to military base, including several years in Japan and in Hawaii. The constant moving has prompted me to reinvent myself at each new location, and to acquire new skills and new knowledge. I considered each one of those jobs as a learning opportunity, especially when it included immersion in a new culture. It also allowed me to volunteer with great organizations that provide invaluable support to the communities I lived in. .
